Brief
For our final year project in my university we had a to come up with 4 project ideas each inspired by a different topic: 1. Previous project, 2. Serendipity, 3. Local News, 4. Personal. When I had to choose one of the 4 project ideas I decided to go with Serendipity. After doing some research I figured out that its usually when you go out your comfort zone is when the unexpected best things happen and  I believe that to find something you are passionate in life you first have to try be even just know you are interested in it. That’s when I came up with my project idea that is a organisation.
Project idea
The idea for this project is to design an organisation that offers affordable workshops for teenagers age 13-17. I believe that to actually know what you enjoy doing or what’s your passion, you have to try it otherwise you might never find it. I can see that in my personal life that if not the opportunities I got in life I would’ve never fall in love with art and design. Not everyone gets chances to sign up for lots of classes and spend money to just find something they love. This organisation is going to help that with offering affordable workshops that teens can just try and after they might look into those activities more. Workshops will be run by students and young adults as those people already have skills and knowledge to share and I think teens will connect with them more.
Vision
Our goal is to offer opportunities for exploration and discovery, giving teens age 13 to 17 the chance to try new things and find their passions. To help them shape their future by providing accessible, engaging experiences through workshops and events led by students and young adults.
Mission Statment

Whether it’s trying new things or finding your passion, we are here to support you. We believe in the importance of community and collaboration. We believe that everyone has unique talents and gifts to share, and we are committed to give you the first step in the right direction.
Target Audience
Teens age 13 to 17 years old who are maybe struggling with finding things they are interested in or just want to find something new that they enjoy this group will help them in that. We want to give the power to the teens to decide for themselves what they want to try. The workshops will be run by students and young adults as teens will feel more comfortable with them and will be easier to connect. As this age group is mostly on social media we will create a promotion strategy that will interact with them, something that will catch their at- tention as it takes just seconds for them to decide if they are interested in some- thing or otherwise they will scroll away.
Social Media
Social media is a big part of this brand as that’s where it is the target audience I want to reach. For the Instagram posts I wanted to have something that will catch those customers attention, something that’s bold and interesting as there a post usually had 7 seconds to grab someone’s attention before they scroll away. I decided that I will used the bold typeface for the headings that are catchy and a handwritten elements to use for the other information and to express the brand.
Instagram is a big part of this brand as social media is the best way to connect to this target audience. on the Instagram there are posts with different information’s as well as Instagram stories and highlights.
Promotional Events
When I was thinking about a promotion I wanted to some event outside as when I see companies do that especially in Spain there was a lot of this type of promotional events, and I think that is something that would work very well for my brand. I decided to make four events that each would be inspired by different carrier. The ones I choses are sport, art, constructions and management/sales. I want those events to be a fun time for people to get interested in the brand and try something new. In those events there will be a chance for them to win vouchers to try new activities.I decided to look into guerrilla marketing for inspirations for this brand.Those 4 events will take part in summer as that will be best time to get in touch with our target audience. the events will be two weeks apart from each other this way we don’t overwhelm people with the brand, rather make them conformable and familiar with it and this way it won’t be something that just happens and people forget about it later. I want this events to make great memories for people and form them to actually remember us.
Basketball Event
For the event is based on sport I decided to make a basketball themed. I decided to design a wall where the hoops are all different sizes and people have to get through all of them and they are allowed to make two mistakes. If they successfully finish the challenge they win a voucher for activity like rock claiming, blowing and more. Everyone who participates is allowed to take the small basketball ball with them that had HEYDAY branding on them. this way when- ever they look at the ball they will associate that ball with the fun time they had with this brand and inspire them to try our workshops.Process book / Promotion
Communication Event
The communication event would be a last event from all the four events. This event is inspired by marketing and sales career. I wanted it to be where people have to use communication skills. I decided to make cards with challenges and when people finish them they win a vouchers and merchandise like in the other events. By this time we expect people to be more familiar with the brand.
Art Installation
For the installation I decided to inspire it on string art. I want this art installation to be placed in cork city centre and encourage people to take photos with it and post it on their socials.
Construction Event
The construction event is inspired by a construction and engineering careers, for this event I wanted people to actually do some activity like building. I decided to have big colourful blocks in brand colours and there will be cards what have images a shapes that when people pick a card and they have to build that shape with in specific amount of time.If they build the shape within 5 minutes they win a brand merchandise, if the build it with in 2 minutes than they win a voucher for an activity like bowling or rock climbing.
